- ANOINTING: That God will fill him with the Holy Spirit and give him the message that He wants the men to hear; that he will prepare well and prayerfully for it.
- COMMUNICATION: That God will empower him to communicate the message to meet the needs of the men and keep them attentive.
- PROTECTION: That God will guard him from the evil one and keep him away from temptation.
- HEALTH: That God will provide him with physical strength and keep him away from sickness.

2. THE LEADERSHIP TEAM: George Hodgdon, Chairman; Whitey Forsman, Promotion; Rich Gitschlag, Publicity; Doug Edwards, Prayer; Larry Hamilton, Physical Arrangements; Gary Westoby, Registration
- PLANNING: That God will spearhead the planning and tedious work involved in preparing the Summit.
- ORGANIZATION: That the coordinators will be organized and efficient.
- EXCELLENCE: That the spirit of excellence will prevail and that no minute detail is overlooked; that the workers will offer their work as an acceptable sacrifice unto the Lord.

3. WORSHIP LEADERS. MUSICIANS: Don Francisco, Mike Banta, Dean Crist, Men for Christ Praise Band
- GLORY: That all glory, honor, and praise will be given unto God.
- WORSHIP: That the music will touch the hearts of the men, enabling them to worship in spirit and in truth; that the Holy Spirit will minister to the men through the music.
- BAND: That the Lord will protect the worship team from any satanic attack before, during, and after the Summit.
- ANOINTING: That God anoint all the members of the worship team and that they be filled by the Spirit.
- COMPASSION: That they will have compassion, understanding, and patience with the participants, especially those who need the Lord.
- SELF-CONTROL: That they will guard their thoughts, speech, and action, and conduct themselves worthy of the Gospel of Christ.
- PROTECTION: That the leaders will stand with the armor of God, protected by the Lord from the schemes of the evil one, whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual.
- SELFLESSNESS: That they make the effort to reach out to the participants; that they have the interests and welfare of others in mind before their own.

4. ACTIVITIES
- FELLOWSHIP: That the men will have fun, having the opportunity to interact and get to know one another; that timidity and shyness be broken down among them.
- GLORY: That in all activities, God will be honored.
- SAFETY: That everyone will be kept from harm, physically or emotionally.

5. PARTICIPANTS
- READINESS: That God will prepare their hearts for what is in store for them, whether they are first-timers or old-timers.
- ATTENTIVENESS: That God will keep their eyes and ears on His message alone. That Satan will fail in attempting to distract them or to make them stumble.
- PROTECTION: That God will protect them from physical, emotional, or spiritual harm inflicted by others or by the enemy.
- SENSITIVITY: That the old-timers will take time and make the effort to reach out to the first-timers.
- FOCUS: That all the men will place God first in their hearts, before others. That together, they will help draw and challenge each other to get close to the Lord.
- PURITY: That they will be pure in heart and mind, not struggling with wrong motives or impure/lustful thoughts.
- FELLOWSHIP: That they will be one in Spirit, enjoying each other’s company; that no one will feel out of place.
- LOVE: That God will manifest His love in and through them.
- DELIVERANCE: That many men, both first-timers or old-timers, will be delivered from sin/bondage and come to know of God’s grace and loving-kindness.
- REVIVAL: That God will consume their hearts and cause a spiritual revival.
- CONVICTION: That the men will have the sustaining conviction to love and obey God even after the Summit so that God may be glorified in their lives, whether it be at home or in the workplace.
- OBEDIENCE: That all participants will obey all rules and respect the people in authority.

6. WEATHER
- That the Lord of the heavens and the earth will make the weather conducive for the activities, neither too wet nor too windy.

7. ATMOSPHERE
- NO BONDAGE: Bind Satan from causing a dull, depressing, discouraging atmosphere.
- POSITIVE ATMOSPHERE: That God will create a loving, happy, peaceful, fun-loving atmosphere where the men will be filled with God’s presence and peace.

8. ROOMS
- COMFORT: That the rooms will be comfortable and cozy, setting the mood for fellowship whereby men will be able to influence each other positively. That the beds will be good enough to let the men have a good sleep.
- SUBMISSION: That the men will submit to authority and obey the rules, especially in the area of smoking, drinking and taking drugs.

9. TRANSPORTATION
- SAFETY: That the people will have a safe trip going to and coming from the retreat; that the drivers will be extra careful.
- PROVISION: That God will provide us with enough cars, but not too many, to bring the men to and from the Summit.

10. REGISTRATION
- PROMPT: That participants will come early and leave as scheduled.
- ORGANIZED: That all signing up and sleeping assignments be efficient, fast, and orderly.
- FINANCES: That the Lord will provide and touch the hearts of men to sponsor other men so that finances will not be a constraint in hearing God’s Word.

- SUFFICIENT: That God will provide enough good food and rooms for men.

That God draws them to Himself
- John 6:44 “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him…”

That they seek to know God
- Acts 17:27 “God did this so that men would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us.”
- Deuteronomy 4:29- “But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find Him if you look for Him with all your heart and with all your soul.”

That they believe the Scriptures
- 1 Thessalonians 2:13- “And we also thank God continually because when you first received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but as it actually is, the word of God…”
- Romans 10:17- “Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the
word of Christ.”

That Satan is bound from binding them from the truth

That the Holy Spirit works in them

That God sends someone to lead them to Christ

That they believe in Christ as Savior
